Like what I’ve done to the place?

What can you say about the new look of the site? It’s actually based on a free WP template (which you may or may have seen me use yesterday). Credits for that original and all the stuff used on this layout can be found in the Colophon page.

I combined a lot of elements I like into it. It’s a minimalist theme that barely uses images, so site loading is quick. It’s got a fixed width that looks okay in browsers (I’ve tried on my 1280-wide screen and at my office laptop that has 1024 pixels only). I used a cute new set of images for the Sociable plugin (those little buttons below each entry), which seem to suit the look just fine. I also went trigger-happy with the widgets (2 Flickr, 1 Twitter, etc…) on the sidebar. I also changed the colors from shades of pink to a deep shade of red, tinkered with the image CSS code, and made the header image using brushes and my own randomness. I’ve made this theme version “my own” and I might keep this look for a very long time.

So anyway, I have to go. It’s wayyy past 3am, and yesterday I slept only about 3 hours, so I need to catch up on some sleep. I don’t wanna end up dozing off at work or anything like that! Haha

PS: It’s my dad’s brithday today! :love:

Oh yes, I’ve renewed the layout YET AGAIN. I was getting sick of those AdSense ads everywhere. And it was a little too professional-looking. I like this new layout better. It’s simple but not too boring minimalist, it’s widget-packed, and I’m using a WordPress plugin for the ads. I’m customizing it even more once I get the time. I’m not very fond of the color fuchsia/pink, see. I want my site in white/black/grays/reds! The background image isn’t so hot either, and I can’t seem to find a cool gothic-ish type of tiled background that fits. Hmm. But for now, this’ll have to do.

A few new things to notice about the site:

• There’s Google ads. Hey, I need money too.
• I changed the layout. I used a customizable WP theme.
• The music page went berserk, for reasons I can’t explain. I need to fix it, hmp. It’s fixed! You may now head to the music page to listen to my songs.

So I went out with co-workers last Friday. CRAZY PEOPLE. You decide if that’s a good or bad thing. At one part of the night I felt violated. I’m not kidding. But there’s a bunch of pics, just check my Multiply site (link is at the left sidebar).

Yesterday I hung out a bit at the UST gym. A friend of mine (who’s also a varsity player), kept making fun of me. DUDE. That issue you’re forcing on me and your room mate is SO OVER. ( But it was all in good fun, haha.

After basketball practice, I watched a basketball game with a friend/co-worker. This guy on one of the teams, drove me crazy (in a good way, mind you). He was on his team’s bench, when he saw me and waved! Then after the game, he approached me, held my hand, then let it linger. I don’t know what that means, I don’t even know if it means ANYTHING at all. All I know is when I realized what happened, I was happy :love:

HEYAAA! I’d just like to let y’all know that I installed a little thingy called “radio.blog” on my MUSIC page! I had this before, a couple of years back, but I’ve only gotten to installing again it tonight. Haha.

So yeah, there’s new music there. It’s not original music though. I have my 4 “best known” original songs there plus a bunch of covers. Two new uploads are there too, namely “Breathe No More” and “Good Enough” by Evanescence. I sang them terribly, but let it go ’cause this is my site. lol Click on MUSIC at the sidebar now!

Anyway, I’m just at home groovin’ to Paramore and trying to rest ’cause my body is having a war with me. Sadly, it’s winning. I have this strange pain on my right knee, right shoulder blade and my tummy area as well, and on top of that my eyes are killing me!

So it’s now March. I can’t believe it’s March already! (Happy birthday to my friend Kix by the way!) Two months have already passed by and I didn’t even really feel them. Haha. In a nutshell, here’s what happened in the past two months: I almost died (I’m not kidding) on New Year’s Day, I turned 22 on January 8, and I had no date on Valentine’s day. Or maybe I did. I’ll leave it up to you to guess.

What am I up to? Well there has been a LOT of work lately… Not that I’m complaining, but you know, commenting on 30-50 sites in addition to writing 3 articles each day can get mentally exhausting! Good thing I always have my iPod and sites like Facebook to keep my head balanced, eh?

I wanna get a haircut and I also wanna dye my hair. I just can’t find the time ’cause I’m always either tired, sleeping or not in the mood to go out. Haha, RANDOM!

I’m going to Eraserheads Live: The Final Set on March 7th and I’m really excited. For those of you around the globe who don’t know the Eraserheads, well let’s just say they’re the Beatles of the Philippines. They broke up a few years back but they are so legendary here that the millions of fans finally got their wish–a reunion concert. This is the 2nd reunion concert, and the final one at that. It’s my FIRST concert of theirs, because I was just a wee little kid during the peak of their career in the 90s. Yeah, that’s right.. You’re old.

well hello there!

Hey look who’s back! HAHAHA. I’m back, bitches! lol

I updated the site. I’m slowly importing all my blog/journal posts from my Multiply site, where I’ve been ranting off for the past few months, as well as older posts which I (being the crazy person I am) removed before. Talk about insane, huh.

ANYWAY! So yeah. There’s a new layout. Spiffy, huh? I’m vain, so what. It’s my site anyway. Teehee.

So I’ve been employed for about nearly 4 months now. Cool, huh? Since I last posted here (January 25), so much has happened! I passed my thesis, graduated, spent probably my best summer ever, lost another best friend because he moved, and got a job. I also completed the basketball season of my two teams (UST Tigers and FEU Tamaraws) and had the time of my life doing so. I also ceased to write songs temporarily. Boohoo. Let’s just say I’m lacking in writing inspiration. Well I do have lotsa thoughts, just gotta put them onto paper. After all, I got my heart broken or something. LOL!!! But I’m back! I’ll try to fix my life as days go.

Here’s a minor list of priorities I have before the year ends:

• get this site back up (almost there!)
• go to a concert (there’s a Rihanna/Chris Brown one coming up, I might go to that one)
• write songs again
• record a demo (found someone, just gotta write music!)
• buy an electric guitar
• get xmas presents for everyone
• fall in love (isn’t really a priority. more of a goal! haha)
• get a sideline for extra money
• clean my fricken room… it’s gross! haha

So that’s about it. I’ll be posting here every now and then, but first I gotta fix the site. There’s like, no pictures or whatever!!! Haha. Until then, ciao!

Hey y’all. I’m back. Could you believe it? Well I’m just posting this for now as I am still working on the site. Sorry I’ve been gone for roughly three (effing!!) months, but hey I was busy! I worked on a thesis proposal with my groupmates, see.

Anywho. I’ll write soon, I promise. I got inspired to write & do websites again. To that person who sorta kicked my ass to do so again, you know who you are. This first post is for you. I miss you.

Well look who’s not dead yet. Yep, that’s right, I’m still alive. OMG, right? Haha. So yeah, I’m back for now. God I hope I can still maintain this thing. I’ve been so busy with so many things since I last updated more than a month ago. That wasn’t even a real update—it was just my way of bragging that my school won the basketball championships in a prestigious collegiate league. Haha. That’s all over now. The new question is… where do I start?

I look stupid in the layout. I love my pic in the background, but the main one? I look distorted in it or something. And that was months ago. I still had short hair then, and everything was different than they are now…

School? Check. Family? Check? Friends? Check. Lovelife? Uhm… I’m single at the moment, but the whole situation I’m in is just confusing me. It’s far too complicated to elaborate, and far too personal. I don’t even think anyone knows but me & the guy! As soon as I get things sorted out though, you know I’ll give you the lowdown. ;p

So yes, people. I’m back. Be afraid. (I’ll stop there, it’s too cliche already.)

i just can’t look, it’s killing me

I’m here in the computer lab at school… I’m so bored, hahaha. It’s been a couple of days since my last update, and since I promised to do so more often, well here I am! =p

I’m going to watch some basketball games tomorrow with some friends/siblings. I’m a bit excited and I hope our team wins… they’ve been on a two-game losing streak and the university is not happy about it. Neither am I. Because I’m sick of rooting for the losing team!!! (Hehe.) Here’s hoping—they’re taking on the (currently) unbeaten team. Gotta give a shoutout (wtf?) to my friends on the team: Dylan, Japs, Jojo, June D., Allan, Chester, Mel, Jemal (get well soon)… you guys rock the hardcourt tomorrow ok?!

Lovelife? Social life? Family? Well I’ve been ok with all of them—except in the lovelife bit. I’ve been single for more that four months, and I thought I was gonna be ok. However, I’ve felt a lot of pain and according to Loureck, torment. It’s such a hard thing to go through, getting over someone you still love. Eventually I’m becoming ok but it’s such a slow process and frankly I’m exhausted. Don’t get me wrong—Charlie and I are still really good friends. It’s just that too much has happened for things to go back to the way they were. Oh well, life is crazy, but I’m crazier. Ha.

Site updates: I finished reuploading my MP3s, a bio written by Charlie, and the webcam page. Everything else is still in the works ‘cause I’m pretty busy. Exams start this Monday so I probably won’t update till after Friday. Will return all comments by Tuesday, including the ones from the old website. Hehe.
