Damn. Been watching to much of Kim Possible at 3 in the morning. That Ron Stoppable made me say “booyah” a couple of times already!

ANYWAY. Onto business…

1. David Cook & David Archuleta concert – It was AMAZING. I like them both but I never thought I’d SCREAM for Archie. And of course, DC rocked the house down. They did A Daily AntheM’s ending together. For concert media, check out: photos | tweets | videos
2. I’ve been having a stressful bunch of weeks lately. More than two weeks now! Today was especially horrifying. Not naming names or specifying what happened, but all I know is it was unfair. My office laptop’s charger is missing, office tasks were created then done then cancelled, a client from my 2nd job postponed something while another client won’t respond, and on top of that… MY SANDWICH WAS SOGGY! It was barely even a sandwich. I even cried. People thought I broke up with my boyfriend or something. I said, “I wish it was love I was having problems with!” I ended up buying a muffin from Starbucks to make myself feel better, and that’s low.
3. I absented myself from work last Thursday. Originally, I was going to watch basketball before work with a co-worker, but after I just went home for much needed rest. Like I said, too much stress!!! UST (my school) lost to State U that day, while FEU (my friends’ school) won over another college.
4. Spent Mother’s Day with the family. We were complete except for my sister-in-law who spent her day with her mom in the parlor. lol. I gave my mom a CD each of DC and Archie, and she loved them. My brother & his wife gave her a yummy-smelling lotion, my eldest sister & her husband brought food, and my other sister made pasta. My dad drove at 3 or 4am just to buy mom flowers, despite a throbbing, painful left foot. :love:
5. Been missing my friends. Saw a huge bunch of them lately! A lot during the concert, actually. It was pretty funny. Nothing like Idol 7 finalists to bring friends together unexpectedly!
6. And oh yeah. Love life. Hmm. Where am I heading? For me to know, and for you to find out (though that never really made sense to me, haha!)

On a side note, I’m feeling MUCH better now. A Starbucks muffin, a few good friends (including online ones), and music will always make me feel better. And when I got home, my mom heated some of the food she cooked yesterday–nothing like a home made meal. COMFORT FOOOOOOD

PS: Danny Gokey still rules. I love Kris Allen and Adam Lambert though. Who is it for you, Kris or Adam?

HEYAAA! I’d just like to let y’all know that I installed a little thingy called “radio.blog” on my MUSIC page! I had this before, a couple of years back, but I’ve only gotten to installing again it tonight. Haha.

So yeah, there’s new music there. It’s not original music though. I have my 4 “best known” original songs there plus a bunch of covers. Two new uploads are there too, namely “Breathe No More” and “Good Enough” by Evanescence. I sang them terribly, but let it go ’cause this is my site. lol Click on MUSIC at the sidebar now!

Anyway, I’m just at home groovin’ to Paramore and trying to rest ’cause my body is having a war with me. Sadly, it’s winning. I have this strange pain on my right knee, right shoulder blade and my tummy area as well, and on top of that my eyes are killing me!

So it’s now March. I can’t believe it’s March already! (Happy birthday to my friend Kix by the way!) Two months have already passed by and I didn’t even really feel them. Haha. In a nutshell, here’s what happened in the past two months: I almost died (I’m not kidding) on New Year’s Day, I turned 22 on January 8, and I had no date on Valentine’s day. Or maybe I did. I’ll leave it up to you to guess.

What am I up to? Well there has been a LOT of work lately… Not that I’m complaining, but you know, commenting on 30-50 sites in addition to writing 3 articles each day can get mentally exhausting! Good thing I always have my iPod and sites like Facebook to keep my head balanced, eh?

I wanna get a haircut and I also wanna dye my hair. I just can’t find the time ’cause I’m always either tired, sleeping or not in the mood to go out. Haha, RANDOM!

I’m going to Eraserheads Live: The Final Set on March 7th and I’m really excited. For those of you around the globe who don’t know the Eraserheads, well let’s just say they’re the Beatles of the Philippines. They broke up a few years back but they are so legendary here that the millions of fans finally got their wish–a reunion concert. This is the 2nd reunion concert, and the final one at that. It’s my FIRST concert of theirs, because I was just a wee little kid during the peak of their career in the 90s. Yeah, that’s right.. You’re old.

Hurray. I’m posting here more now! I just renewed my domain a couple of days back, so now everything’s alright. Haha.

What have I been up to lately? Hmm let’s see. I wrote a couple of songs. There’s so many crazy, horrible things that’ve happened and those provoked me to write again. But hmm, I HAVE to work on those. I just need to save a bit more so I could buy a Macbook and create my songs.

What else, what else. Life has been good in general. I bought a ticket to “Eraserheads Live! The Final Set” so yeah I’m really happy about that.

And… I was watching American Idol last night. Here are my two bets:

‘Cause, you know. DAMN. I don’t even care much for group three. These two are sorta reminding me of David Cook and David Archuleta from last year. You know, one rocker who knows what he’s doing, and one “small town”-ish guy who just has raw talent. I’m betting these two meet at the finals.

Of course, I still love guys like Anoop Desai (aka Anoop Dogg), Megan Corkrey, and Jackie Tohn. I hope to see them get saved at the wild card round. They’re really good.

I was watching a friend’s basketball game last Sunday. Our team (like I’ve mentioned in the previous post) won a collegiate league championship. So did their opponent in last Sunday’s game. Our team is the Growling Tigers, theirs is called the Red Lions. Hence, it was dubbed the “Battle of the Big Cats” ;p

I’m random.

So I haven’t written that much songs again lately, and I don’t know why. I mean, I have a lot of experiences & angst that could make for good songwriting material… But I can’t seem to put them onto paper. I don’t know if I’m uninspired (which is strange because I should be), or lazy (because I’m not). I really don’t know. It’s just another of those unfathomable things in life, I guess.

Less than a month before Christmas, and yet I haven’t bought anybody anything yet. Though I’ve been at the mall no less than 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Canvassing, errands, foodtripping. No gifts. I hate crowds. Especially holiday crowds.

I’ve decided to change the layout next month. Because even though I just put this one up a couple of days ago, I can sense that I look stupid in the layout. And it’s too pink. Haha. Besides, someone reacted violently when he saw it. I’m kidding. ;p

I’m here in the computer lab at school… I’m so bored, hahaha. It’s been a couple of days since my last update, and since I promised to do so more often, well here I am! =p

I’m going to watch some basketball games tomorrow with some friends/siblings. I’m a bit excited and I hope our team wins… they’ve been on a two-game losing streak and the university is not happy about it. Neither am I. Because I’m sick of rooting for the losing team!!! (Hehe.) Here’s hoping—they’re taking on the (currently) unbeaten team. Gotta give a shoutout (wtf?) to my friends on the team: Dylan, Japs, Jojo, June D., Allan, Chester, Mel, Jemal (get well soon)… you guys rock the hardcourt tomorrow ok?!

Lovelife? Social life? Family? Well I’ve been ok with all of them—except in the lovelife bit. I’ve been single for more that four months, and I thought I was gonna be ok. However, I’ve felt a lot of pain and according to Loureck, torment. It’s such a hard thing to go through, getting over someone you still love. Eventually I’m becoming ok but it’s such a slow process and frankly I’m exhausted. Don’t get me wrong—Charlie and I are still really good friends. It’s just that too much has happened for things to go back to the way they were. Oh well, life is crazy, but I’m crazier. Ha.

Site updates: I finished reuploading my MP3s, a bio written by Charlie, and the webcam page. Everything else is still in the works ‘cause I’m pretty busy. Exams start this Monday so I probably won’t update till after Friday. Will return all comments by Tuesday, including the ones from the old website. Hehe.

Damn it, we had no classes yesterday. Just perfect, when I got so much planned. Grrr. I was actually excited because I knew for a fact that two of our professors were out, so I could have more time to hang out with everyone. But nooo. People just have to spread the “news” about a coup ‘d etat going on. Right on, bitches.

Yesterday, as a result, was a blah day for me. I woke up early, ready & on the way to school. We then heard on the radio that all classes are suspended. What do I do now, I thought? Well for starters you could eat a proper breakfast for once, missy. So I went to change, then ate the rest of my lasagna. Then all day I just stayed in the living room & watched TV. After hours of boring myself to death, I eventually fell asleep in the afternoon & woke up in the middle of the night. I had a massive headache so I just texted Eric to distract myself. When I couldn’t handle the pain anymore, I slept again & woke up at 4:30 am. Like wow.

Thursday was alright… just a bit of schoolwork but nothing too serious. The day went by like a breeze. I finally got to do my report in Biology, which went by ok in my opinion. I also found out I had a pretty good recitation grade in Philosophy (apparently 93-95 was the range, woohoo). That gave me hope because my exam wasn’t so hot. Haha.

Last Wednesday was also a breeze, because we only had two subjects. Wow, a break from 9 am – 3 pm. So we had an early lunch, me & my friends… But Charlie & I had PE class after that. We were forced to “watch” the fitness contest (eew), signed the attendance sheet & went home.

Well my mom found my missing guitar strings, so to cure my current boredom I shall now force myself to write songs & play guitar again. I haven’t in weeks! Then I’ll reward myself with Belgian truffles that melted into one big blob so I have to slice it before I can eat. Or green mangoes & fish sauce (aka bagoong) ‘cause it’s a Filipino thing. Hahaha.

I haven’t updated in four days but I don’t mind. Haha. Sorry guys but I’ve been really busy! After I finish all my schoolwork tonight, I swear I’m visiting everyone’s sites…

Today I went with Charlie, Joyce & Paula to watch our basketball varsity team against the old champions from a decade ago. Those champs still have the touch, I tell you. The game ended in a tie, but whatever. We were too busy asking for photo ops from people like Richard Yee & Cyrus Baguio (our school’s basketball veterans). Hehe.

Yesterday we watched a game as well, with Denise, Shiela, Jenny & Babsie. It was our school versus DLSU, both in womens’ & mens’ divisions. Our teams won both games, which was a really nice accomplishment considering they haven’t played that well lately.

Last Sunday, I just bummed around at home. I don’t think I can even recall anything significant that I did that day. I think I just watched TV or something… I’m not sure.

Then last Saturday I went to my friend Escie’s birthday bash. I, unfortunately, didn’t thoroughly enjoy myself that night for a couple of reasons. First is because a lot of those people aren’t really “my crowd” so to speak. And second, Charlie didn’t go with me so I barely had anyone to talk to & was alone for quite some time.

Thanks to everyone who greeted me & Charlie a happy anniversary! It was yesterday but we celebrated it today after school. We ate at Tokyo Tokyo for lunch, then we went to his place to hang out. Well, I hung out. He slept through most of it! :p

Where did my “budding music career” go? Eversince I’ve been swamped with schoolwork, I’ve had no time to write songs or even play the guitar. So naturally, I can’t make another mp3 no matter how excited I was. Plus, a string on my guitar broke so I bought a new set of strings (and a guitar pick) last month. However, they unfortunately got lost somewhere in the house. Ugh.

I’m bored. And boring. This post is senseless… I’ll leave before I bore myself to death. Charlie is apparently asleep so I have nobody to talk to or whatnot. Blahhh. I promise I’ll write a better post soon.
