FEU player and friend of ours, Mac Baracael got shout around 8 or 8:30 pm last night, July 24. He was with Ron Cabagnot & Robert Kave when it happened. According to this post, they were by the FEU gym “when a car drove by and a shot simultaneously heard. After Cabagnot and Kave looked around, they saw a bloodied Baracael on the ground. The shooting occurred at the corner of Morayta and R. Papa streets, near a Philtrust bank branch.”

Thank God he’s okay now and in stable condition. When his teammate texted me that he was 50/50, I panicked. When another teammate of his texted me he was okay, I let out a huge “thank God” sigh. But I’m still MAD that someone would do such a thing to such a nice guy. Whoever did it, whoever you are, I hope your conscience haunts you. And I hope you go to hell.

EDIT (1:43 PM): Came from the hospital a while back. Mac’s okay, but no visitors are allowed for now.

Let’s include Mac in our prayers. I’m hoping for his speedy recovery, and I’m hoping his teammates won’t get too shaken. I still believe they could win their next game. Go FEU!

I was supposed to post this at my website, but then I changed my mind. Hindi ako makakapag Taglish dun eh! ) But ANYWAY, yesterday was..”FUN” to say the least. UST + FEU = L.O.V.E. Sana lang walang selosan.

Let me start my kwento with the whole UST misadventures. I went to UST afterlunch, met up with ate Ickay, and later on Vany. We hung out at our usual “pwesto” and watched the training that lasted till about 5:30 in the afternoon. There were very candid moments, even one part where coach Pido was mimicking one of his players (I’m not mentioning who, amin nalang yon). I called someone “gwapo” like I always do, and he did a kissy face. OMG. Seryoso ka ba dun?! But the whole point? Everyone was laughing, and it was one of the most light practices I’ve been to. May halong onting Team B pa naman, na ayon comedy din. May nalalaglagan ng shorts, may natutumba sa tapunan ng exercise ball (whatever that’s really called), at may joketime na “takbuhan” care of Penekits pasaway. We (B3) were also making singit to the NCAA opening games na pinapanuod ni Mam Gina. Sino daw ba pinapanuod namin… Nilaglag ko si Vany somehow (trust me, it wasn’t “ME”) kay Mam. With the help of Bou narin. Meron pang photo album of studio pictures. Ng mga CALLBOYS ni Mam Gina. Haha Then this photoshoot for their UAAP IDs, xempre polo lang kailangan palitan. Ayon, this other player naka polo then jersey shorts. Sabay shooting. Okay, addict! As usual. :p

After the training, napatingala kami sa isang banner (na by the way, may eye-level naman na banner din sa likod namin…palibhasa matangkad yung unang nakatingin!). “Punta kayo ha?” at “Fuck that autograph signing!” Omg. Haha. Mag pa autograph nga daw kami eh. KUNWARI, fans kami. Kunwari lang naman.

Apart from that, namigay din kami ng mini jerseys ni John Lee Apil, UST #4. For those who are unaware, he’s that player who died in Holy Week of 2006 saving someone else’s life. Nagpa thank you ang mga players, although kulang pa yung jerseys. We have to get another batch to give to the rookies pa. Hehe.

We then went to Jollibee Morayta. Kain kain, habang pasulyap-sulyap “dun” sa..YON! Haha. Somehow our asses got dragged towards the FEU gym, where our friends made kulit. First was si gesture. Inofferan ko ng rocky road sunday, ayaw daw niya. So I gave him the gesture na lang. Tawa siya. ) Next was DOODLE Super kulit! I missed him so much! Ang animated sobra. May nalalaman pang “siyempre doktor sila, player lang naman ako…” Whoo drama! ) Aasarin pako kay Jonas Villanueva e oh. “Nuod kayo (ng pep rally game)” “Hindi ako pwede eh” “Ay bakit?” “May work na kasi ako” “Ay, sige picturan ko na lang si Jonas para sayo” “TALAGA?!” “Hinde joke lang.” CHE!!!! Hahahaha ) Padikit-dikit pa ng mukha sa glass door. KULIT! Haha. Si bossing pa! Nagulantang sa pagsigaw ni doodle. Bad joke nga pala yon bossing, wag mo uulitin yon. Then si..uhm what do I call him? Yung kavibes ko daw. Yon. He was dribbling a ball while going downstairs. Snob talaga! Hnd kami pinapansin kahit ipagsigawan na pangalan niya! Kung anong kina-snob nya, ganun din ang kina INGAY niya! Gulo gulong tao. Ipinagsigawan nanaman yung crush ko. Sige lang, magkaka-araw din tayo.

Then here’s the odd part. Umakyat ang B3 sa taas para mag CR. Nakita pa nga namin isang anak ko eh, nanunuod sa teammates nya. After mag CR, pag baba, aba tinarayan kame ng BAGO na guard. Palibhasa, bago. Ang sunget, pero ang duwag. Basta! You had to be there. Nakakainis siya. Nasabihan pa kami na kung umakyat, kala mo amin daw yung gym. MANONG!! KUNG ALAM MO LANG SINO KAMI! Kaso hindi eh. So ayon. Pinabayaan. Biglang lumabas si ka-vibes, nakipag kulitan saglit at nag paalam na iinom lang daw siya. Pag baba niya, “I’m baaaaaack” nga ba yon? O I’m here? Basta yon, then tinawag na niya si crush ko. Nilaglag na rin ata ako at the same time. :s Pero okay lang. Nagkwento naman si crush sa amin. “PARANG PELIKULA” hahaha ) Ibang klase mag kwento! Alam nyo yung tipong, malungkot dapat ang storya, pero sa pagkwento niya e matatawa ka instead of maaawa? Ganun. Pero in fairness, naawa talaga ako sa ngyari sa kanya. I wanted to hug him =/

Si manong guard? TAMEME the entire time. Papagalitan mo kami, tapos ngayong nakita mo sino kami sa kanila, ANO?! Hahahaha. Yabang ni Imee oh ;p

Pag uwi, I had to text “him” (basta yung special friend ko) if his roommate was still at the dorm. Sumagot naman kaagad na wala… Then it started from there. Magkatext ulit kami… Na-LECHE pa ako ) But he made my night. The cherry on top of a wonderful “cake of the day” ) OMG ANG CORNY KO!! Hahaha. Basta mgkatext kami hanggang makatulog ata siya. Lol

So that was one of the best days I’ve had this month. Sana next month, madaigan pa

Hands down, this is the best Paskuhan yet. It just keeps getting better, I swear. All the shit I’ve been through all year, erased… Just because I spent time with some of the people I love & enjoy the company most. I don’t need to drop names–they know who they are. Thanks for the gifts, the escapades, and the great time we all had last night. It was a truly memorable one.

Probably the only thing I didn’t like about that night was the hurt I felt seeing this certain someone, looking at me, even if he’s with his significant other. I know they’re happy. But somehow I wish he wasn’t at all bitter towards me, it’s not like it’s my fault we’re not meant for each other. I don’t like this feeling–yung nagkakailangan. It’s way too hard, and it feels like such a waste, especially now that it’s the yuletide season. Magdodonate na sana ako nung hinihingi mo, kaso nag inarte ka, hmp!

But anyway, thanks to the UAAP Family. Tigers, Tams, Warriors (kahit di sumipot yung isa jan, lagot ka sakin! haha), and of course the VIP & Adiks. Again, no need to mention names. I’m saying this from the bottom of my heart: you’re all special to me and I thank you for this night worth remembering. I really love you guys.

My dad gave my mom a bouquet of peach-colored roses for Christmas. He surprises us sometimes. Sweet, eh?

On Christmas Eve, I went to mass with some of my family. I haven’t done that in years… Go me! Ha. When we got home we ate our Noche buena (Christmas dinner) which was very delicious of course. :p Then at the stroke of midnight we rushed over to the living room to exchange gifts. Guess who was assigned (ahem, bullied) to be Santa. Even though I didn’t get everything I wanted, I really do like the ones I received. And yes, Liz, I really wanted to be with my whole family this year. That came true so it’s a big plus.

Then on Christmas Day we all went to our grandma’s house. This is our first Christmas without her so it was a bit sad. My brother cried and my sister who’s a doctor was on duty (WTF?!), but other than that it was great. We also had games, great food, and hmm I got some cash from my relatives. Haha. More money for whatever the hell I’m saving for. Tehee.

I was supposed to go to the mall with my dad today but he got lazy about it & I overslept anyway. So the rest of today was spent eating, watching sitcoms, listening to Lindsay Lohan, talking on the phone & going online. I really gotta get a move on, though. I haven’t started on any of my homework for next year! What’s up with that anyway? Isn’t Christmas break supposed to be, well, Christmas break?!

I also wanna thank Dorthea & Paige for their Xmas fansigns! Thanks, everyone. I never expected I’d get so many this year… I love you all, really!

It seems like for the past few entries I always start with an apology. But really, I am sorry for neglecting this thing that’s apparently my website. Don’t think I’ve forgotten any of you or anything, ok? I’m using the ancient computer at my mom’s office (lol) because I still have no internet on my computer & I’m itching for it really bad. I do try to go online every now & then but only for like 30 minutes at a time. That totally sucks.

So in the past month I…
• celebrated my sister’s birthday & went bowling with the family (April 1) – photos
• dreamt I was in a tornado with Wentworth Miller (April 3)
• watched basketball games (numerous times) – photos
• hung out at my ex-boyfriend’s house twice
• saw someone naked BY ACCIDENT (don’t ask)
• hung out with my family a couple of times
• got my grades & found I passed all my subjects (April 10)
• watched Ice Age 2 then hung out with friends at home (also April 10)
• got addicted to “Prison Break” & “Veronica Mars”
• written 4 new songs (all before Easter)—which I will upload when I get the chance!
• have been eating like a ton of chocolate, mushrooms & green mangoes
• found out a schoolmate of mine died while saving his friends’ lives (April 16)
• went clubbing but got disappointed with the crowd (April 18) – photos
• got gnawed on my leg by a dog thanks to GP (April 19)
• attempted to make a new layout for this site… (also April 19)
• finally logged onto MySpace again (April 20)
• freaked out & almost had a heart attack because of a damn basketball game i watched (April 23)
• tried redeeming myself by commenting back on everyone *wink*

Please take a moment & pray for the soul of my schoolmate John Lee Apil. He passed away last April 15 while attempting to save two of his friends from electrocution. He is an amazing athlete of our university and a good friend to everyone who knew him.

Don’t worry, I’m still alive. Just barely breathing. Lol. I’m here at my mom’s office waiting for my sister to arrive. I’m so sorry I haven’t posted here or commented on your sites for AGES. I really am sorry.

Finals went ok. A couple of exams were weird, but most were ok. And if you’re curious, yes Charles & I did get good grades for our Speech class. As some of you may know (or barely remember), we did the island scene from Pirates of the Caribbean. Tehee. Here’s a pic of us, enjoy. Haha.

By the way, me & Charles aren’t a couple anymore. We broke up last Saturday (or was it Sunday?) but we’re friends. Really. And I’m not being sarcastic here. Don’t be sad, we’re ok. (= Bright side? We’re not fighting anymore… And I have more songwriting material (that’s a half joke).

Yesterday I was with Joyce & we watched basketball games to support our friend Jojo. Also last Saturday I watched a different set of games with Paula. And last Thursday I went swimming & drinking with some friends (here’s a pic). So yeah, my social life is crazy now.

I still have no internet connection at the moment. Cyrian, you want my internet card? Hehe. Let’s just hope I get that laptop soon. I’m itching for one right now!! And maybe I’ll also have to get my celfone fixed. TECHNOLOGY BITES! Harhar.

I just came from the doctor’s by the way. That was scary. o___O Gotta go now, I have tons of updating to do here & elsewhere! Promise to visit you all again soon. Love y’all!!
