Last January 8th, I turned 23. Hahahahahahaha. I don’t feel old though. Everyone else my age or slightly younger think that 23 is old. It is NOT. I’m not being defensive or anything. I just think I’m living for the day unlike a lot of people who are either stuck in the past or too freaked out about the future. So ha.

What else what else.

O ya. I quit my job. I was in it for less than a month. lol. Now where’s my money?! Hahaha. I wanna go to the Paramore concert, see. It’s in March and I’m REALLY excited to see those guys live. They’re awesome – one of my fave bands from the 2000s [I'm a '90s kid, see... especially when it comes to music, movies and TV].

Aaaaaand! I wrote a song! First for the year. Not to happy with it, but at least I’ve been writing again. I need more drive. Like I used to, years ago. Except… I don’t want to feel like I did during those times. Not anymore. I gotta move forward. You know the feeling where you seem to be inspired only when you’re down? I don’t want that anymore. It’s not healthy. Sure, sure, music is my therapy – but I don’t want to constantly feel down just so I can make music. I don’t want to always end up sabotaging relationships with all the people around me for the sake of writing. It’s not fair – not to them and not to myself.

On a positive note… I’m online a lot. At strange hours of the day. So if you feel the need to take a hold of me, I’m either in Facebook, Farmville, Tumblr, or Twitter. Don’t IM me, I’m barely on those things. Don’t call or text me, I’ve abandoned my phone. You could probably email me, but good luck finding out which email I’m using. Muwahahahaha.

Or I’ll be in front of the TV watching sitcom and cooking show reruns. Or asleep. HAHAHAHAHA.

10 Things I Am Thankful For
(I got tagged by Queennie)

People often complain of what is not present. We often dwell on things we don’t have. Well, for a change I hope we can (even for a while) think of the great things we have. Hope you would share your thoughts too guys…

1. I am thankful for each day I’m alive. Especially back when I got REALLY sick on New Year’s Day this year… Back then, I really thought I might die. So yeah, I’m thankful I’m still alive.

2. I am thankful for being blessed with a beautiful family. They’re beautiful inside and out. They’re amazing and I love them so much.

3. I am also thankful for my true friends. They’ve been with me through thick and thin–through my bad days and not just my good ones. They support me, they understand me, and they make me happy. I hope I do the same for them

4. I am thankful for my two best friends, especially my first real best friend. Not that the second is less appreciated or anything… ;p I used to say I don’t like the term best friend but there really is one or two people you can’t help but be honest with and share everything with.

5. I am thankful for my health! I may be skinny-looking but I tell ya, I’m healthy! Thanks to being brought up by my family as a healthy eater. I love veggies, I love fruits, juices, cheeses, and meats/fowls that aren’t greasy. But I do love eating a couple of sweets here and then. But hey, it’s all in moderation

6. I am thankful for Herbalife! Seriously. It saved my family, both financially and health-wise. Thanks to their products, we are living healthier, no stress, we’re much happier, not much tension anymore, no more worries, and we know that Herbalife can not only give us health but also wealth!

7. I am thankful for my imperfections. I believe those make me who I am. “Unique just like everyone else” is quite paradoxical–nobody is ever the same. I learned never to be jealous, because I know that God made me this way and has given me the blessings I deserve and experiences I need to learn.

8. I am thankful for my job. It’s a good one, the pay is alright, and the workload isn’t always that bad. I’m quite enjoying myself and I’m getting the hang of it. The people aren’t so bad either… I’m quiet around them because, well, I’m still trying to get used to them (even if I’ve been here for about 8 months now).

9. I’m thankful for my God-given talents. I don’t have to enumerate what they are, but I’m thankful I can do those things that other people would kill to just be able to do for a day. I may sometimes feel the same way about others’ talents, but that’s what makes all of us special anyway

10. I am thankful for finishing my education. Not everybody gets this privilege, especially because education costs a lot of money. I’m glad I did well and graduated on time despite the fact that I didn’t really try so hard. I know I could’ve done better during the latter part (esp. in high school and some parts of college), but I did enjoy (most of) my years as a student. I earned friends and experiences along the way as well!

Thanx for the ideas for the new layout, guys. They’re all greatly appreciated. But look, my layout block is gone!! Ladies & gentlemen, I present to you John Mayer! Like it? I do! Please comment on it okies??

I might have ulcer. Don’t worry, it’s still under the “might have” category. Another suspicion is a side-effect of a capsule I take daily that was given to me by my dermatologist. And you know what else? I still haven’t recovered from the runny nose I’ve had for about a week now. Man I hate being sick.

On the other hand, I got to stay home & sleep. Yes. Sleep. I’m feelin’ the Jason Mraz song “Sleep All Day” right now—very fitting.

I might go swimming tomorrow. We have a free day in school, see. Just because we had the most parents that attended the issuance of cards, we get to use the pool for free—all day long!! Then again, like I said, I haven’t recovered from my colds yet.

Anyway I gots to sleep now… I feel so funkin’ tired man!

just droppin’ by to say that the new layout might take longer to upload… i’m not even halfway through!

i didn’t go to school today, i have pain in my abdominal area. ugh. at least my mom came home with a nice box of blueberry muffins to cheer me up.

anyway my sister larraine texted me this morning and texted me constantly yesterday. man do i miss her.

why am i so bombarded with problems recently?? did you know my domain’s expiring soon but i haven’t renewed it yet. and to add to the stress, i’m not finished with a project. plus… my band hasn’t practiced even once for the battle of the bands which is like, a month away! aaaargh!

as if there isn’t enough stuff to keep me nervewracked, this stupid internet account is just bull. X(

sorry if i’m ranting again but all i know is life’s not cooperating with me right now.

Why am I so forgetful? First off, I forgot to tell y’all that I made the left part of my lower lip bleed last Friday. Why? Cuz I’m such an idiot that I hit my mouth with the top bunk of my double-deck bed. X( Can you say “ouch?” It was swollen for about 12 hours, but now it looks perfectly fine. Except I have a cold sore on the other side…

“Me Against the Music” is, uhm, kinky yet weird. After that whole Britney/Madonna liplock thingy during the VMAs, I knew this was coming. And Britney, the “shirtless necktie look” fits Madonna in “American Life” much better.

Now I know why Justin called Britney a f*cking b*tch on national television…

I have a new layout..should I put it up? I really like it, it’s for Holloween.

Anyone ever seen the movie “Firestarter: Rekindled” yet? It’s so cool. Freaky, but cool. Hell I’ve been seeing much of Marguerite Moreau on TV lately. I think she’s becoming one of the most successful actors emerging from the Ducks trilogy… *sigh* I miss those bunch of misfits!

I might go to my grandma’s house tonight cuz my aunt Myrn’s arriving from Livonia, MI. I’m told that my other aunt [auntie Emma from Farmington Hills, MI] is giving me a Clay Aiken CD. Needless to say aunt Emma’s obsessed with Clay that she’s even got me in the rumble jumble… haha.

I don’t know if I’ll watch my bro’s basketball game this Wednesday. He hasn’t updated me on when he’ll pick me up, so yeah I’m bummed.

On the other hand, 2 new green lovebirds were added in the “aviary” in our front yard. Cute creatures those things are…

ooh. my colds? gone. wheeeeeee!! i can sing again! but my throat still hurts like hell so i’m a bit sad about that…

on the other hand, it’s my *husband* John Mayer’s birthday today, muwahahaha. he’s 26 now. man, we’re 10 years apart…?!

yep, i know i’m delusional. who cares?

i just came home from school. finals are almost over, wahey! tomorrows sched? economics [*faints*], then filipino [eh, it’s ok], home ec [nyah], and computer [uhm, whee?].

anyway, stuff went alright today, i slept at like, 3 am or somethin’ and woke up at 6:15. needless to say i went to school with teary eyes accompanied by swollen eye bags. ugh.

gotta go now. my man John & I need to celebrate his birthday you know…

Anyway we went to the mall. It took us forever to get outta Silicon Valley [the computer shop]. But let’s do this chronologically.

We arrived at the mall at around 12 noon. We ate at KFC as usual [we’re addicted to it, see]. We ordered the Go-go Sandwich meal [it includes a Pepsi & a fix-in]. Plus some HotShots [now that’s addictive]. I think it made up for that “bathroom incident” yesterday [this guy was cleaning the ladies’ room when I was still there, hah].

Anyway. We went to the computer store, and it took ages before they got the stupid MP3 player to work. It did. But now it won’t again. WTF is wrong?? Jeez. Maybe I’ll try again a little later. Or next week if I get really busy. Oh well.

Once we got outta there [whew!] we went to American Fits [it’s a brand-names-for-cheaper kinda store]. We got my dad a new pair of pants from Lee. Nice. Then 2 tops for my sister from Youth Collection & another brand [I forgot, k??]. Also nice. For moi? Well… I got a totally rad denim skirt. It’s got some parts faded [on purpose] and it’s made of stretch denim. Really nice. Things at that place are practically a steal!! I love my life.

Then after that we went to Dickies. I got myself a red tank top with the Dickies logo in the middle. It’s really cool. I also saw a couple of other tops that I wanted to buy, but I’m a moneyless student, aight?! I also checked out a camouflage garrison belt there, but I was stupid enough not to buy. I think it was a blessing in disguise coz I found out my dad has one!! I have an extra buckle so I guess I’ll use that. Don’t you just love hand-me-downs? They’re free, and they’re usually in good condition. My dad rocks.

Then my mom & I headed to the mall next door to use up her gift certificate. She bought 2 lipsticks with it, but had some money left over. So she bought me a lipgloss tower from Fira [a funky NYC-based cosmetics shop] as well as an eyeshadow tower for my sis. And a nailcutter for me [coz someone in school never returned my old one] and a shower puff for my sis. My mom rocks.

Now after that we went to my dermatologist. If I remember well, I had about 15 injections on my face just to get rid of my zits. Yick. Then we headed home.

My bro called up & told me he & his wife are coming here tonight. Whee! I don’t know about our other sister though…

My family totally rocks, dude.

I have no desire for money. It’s stuff that I want.

Whoa. 3 days w/o the rocker freak? What happened to her??!

Well obviously there’s a new layout. Hot stuff, eh? Ignore the link to the poll for now, I can’t seem to update the goddamn thing. But everything else seems to be working just fine. This layout’s for the birthday boy, Kevin Zegers. He’s turning 19 soon, so yeah. I’ve had a bad crush on him since for, like, ever.

Anyway. I’m listening to classic rock right now, it’s what’s on TV. U2’s “With Or Without You,” Aerosmith’s “Janie’s Got A Gun,” you name it, they’ve got it. Right now it’s Def Leppard with “Armageddon It.” It’s times like this that makes me want to turn back time & be a kid again. Duh, it’s the music I grew up to…

So last Wednesday my guitar almost broke. I have a sneaking suspicion Chris had something to do with it, not that I’m accusing him or anything. I mean, it could be Alex or Paolo [Paulo??], or Aibee or whoever. I don’t care. All I want is my guitar… X( I think I cried too much that day too. I think it showed when I got home coz my mom kept asking me if I had a problem. I just can’t tell her coz she’s the one who bought that guitar. And my other one. Heck, she might even buy the next one after this …if I could get the guts to TELL her!!

Eh. Any how, yesterday went fine. I got my uniform for CAT [finally!!] and it fits well. Other than that I don’t really remember anything significant.

Today I woke up sometime between 9 & 10 in the morning. My mom said she’s been trying to wake me up since 8 but I swear I don’t remember anything.

Hey shhh. Guns N Roses is on, with “Patience,” gotta :love: it. Muwahahaha.

Anyway, where was I?? Ok. My mom & I went downtown to checkout those military surplus shops. I got a buckle for my garrison belt [yep, I got the spelling right this time], as well as a pair of cool combat boots. [Did I just use the words “cool” and “combat boots” in the same sentence? Oh no…]

Then after that we headed to a malling area [about 3 malls inter-connected to one another]. We ate at KFC [that we had to literally scour for before we could finally eat]. We got ourselves a 1-piece chicken meal, then my mom got these “Go-go sandwich” things while I got a choco mousse. After we stuffed ourselves, we went around the malls to find a decent printer. Damn that place, you can’t find the store even if it kicked you in your rear. Jeez. Anyway, when we got there my mom bought me the printer as well as an MP3 player [which we might return because it won’t work dammit]. I have an idea, why don’t I exchange that MP3 player for a digital camera instead? I mean come on, that’s what I really want right now anyway…

I also got 2 sleeveless tops, really cute [you should see ‘em].

We’re going back to the mall tomorrow cuz we still haven’t accomplished much of what we wanna do. I think I might buy some stuff from Lee, Dickies & other places. Things in that mall’s way cheaper. Guess I know where I’ll do my Xmas shopping this year…

Then we’ll go to my dermatologist. Can’t blame me. I have a couple of huge zits on my freakin’ chin. WWWWWWHHHHHYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!???!?

I had a dream this morning. I dunno, I was half-awake but I swear it’s around 3 or 4 AM. Ok, my dream went this way… I was on my way to school today, and I was wearing my TTh uniform instead of my MW uniform. [TTh = Tuesday/Thursday, MW = Monday/Wednesday] Then my dad was the one to bring me to school instead of my mom who usually does. To make matters even weirder, my mom was the one on my dad’s bike taking my dad’s daily laps. And you know what’s weirder?! We were going the opposite direction of the school. We’re supposed to go left but we were walking towards the right. Jeez. Everything’s the opposite of what it’s supposed to be… Ugh. I’m so CoNFuSeD!!

Anyway, we went to buy ourselves some mashed potatoes at KFC. ’Cuz we do chicken right. Hah. Not much gravy though… I NEED GRAVY, DAMMIT!! Muwahahaha.

Is it me, or is the band The Ataris starting to seem really amazing?? I’m buying their album soon, that’s for sure. I love the song “Takeoffs and Landings,” as well as “In This Diary,” really awesome! Gosh.

My mom & I are heading to a local military surplus to buy some new goods. First off, we’re buying combat boots. Well, maybe I’ll take care of them for the sake of the military training in our school, but soon as it’s over I’mma gonna wear them ruggedly!! Hah. I might buy a new pair of cargo pants. My current one sucks—the color’s blah, the fit’s too tight, and well… it’s a capri. Y’all know how much I hate tight pants, right?

Oh yeah, this site’s back up, FINALLY!! Plus there aren’t any classes tomorrow & this Friday. I could die happy now…

I went to UST today with our Physics teacher after the exams. I was also with Katherine, Paz, Anna, Ivy & Jillian. Wahoo! I never knew our Physics teacher was such a wacko… blahahaha. Good times, good times.

…and yes, I do know where Alex Max Band is right now. He’s in Los Angeles recording a couple of tracks for the new TC album with his bestest buddy in the whole wide world, no other than the A-man himself, Aaron Kamm [<—spell?!] Kamin. Don’t ask me how I know—I just do, aight??! *insert huge grin/smirk here*
